AFC Energy is delaying delivering of its fist fuel cell system to Akzo-Nobel in Germany.

AFC says that there is still work to be done on the overall output of the system for the Bitterfield site in Germany.

The AFC share price has fallen 1p to 5p, valuing the company at £6.38m.

There was confusion at the end of August when AFC said it had delivered the fuel cell system and later corrected the statement to say it was about to. The share price has fallen by 30% since then.

The fuel cell systems will use the by-product of the chlorine produced by Akzo-Nobel as fuel.
