African Eagle Resources estimates that it has 700,000 ounces of gold at its Igurubi project in Tanzania.

The shares rose 0.625p to 4.875p each, which values African Eagle at £10.4m.

The drill data is not good enough to turn this into a an official resource estimate it does indicate where more drilling needs to be done.

African Eagle wants to concentrate on its Dutwa nickel prospect in Tanzania and will look for a partner which can push forward the Igurubi project.
