Alliance Pharma’s new product Isprelor’s trial results are likely to be disappointing.
Isprelor has been developed to induce labour in pregnant women. Alliance has decided to re-evaluate its development plan for Isprelor because the results of the phase III trials won’t be good enough to support an application for registration.
The additional work required for filing for registration means that this probably won’t happen before 2011.
Alliance shares fell 0.25p to 8.375p, valuing the company at £14m.
