Amteus says that it is ready to roll out its technology in schools from October.
The developer of software for the secure transmission of voice and data over the internet’s reseller has secured the potential sales through its relationship with the Government Sponsored Schools Trust. The company is also negotiating with potential corporate sponsors.
Amteus has cut its overheads by 65% through staff reductions and the closure of its research and development facility.
Amteus still needs more cash and it is in discussions with potential investors, including its deputy chairman Jeffrey Morris and other existing investors.
The Amteus share price edged up 0.5 to 9.5p, which values the company at £5.1m. The most recent fundraising was at 15p a share.
