Amur Minerals Corporation has extended the known mineralisation at the Ikenskoe deposit by nearly 0.25km and there should be more to come.

The average intersected grades are 0.89% nickel and 0.22% copper with an average interval thickness of 17.5 metres.

In 2007, a JORC compliant resource totalling 162,700 tonnes of nickel and 46,000 tonnes of copper was estimated. The newly discovered grades are much higher.

Amur plans to start drilling at Kubuk in June.

At 6.15p a share, up 0.35p, Amur is valued at £21.7m.
