IPTV software supplier ANT has won its first Japanese customer.
This is the latest piece of good news for the company. ANT shares have risen by more than 50% over the past six months. At 31.5p a share, the company is valued at £7.65m.
Unihan Corporation has licensed the AANT Galio browser for its set-top boxes. These boxes will be supplied to Cool.revo Inc which is launching IPTV services at the beginning of 2009.
ANT provides software for TV set-top boxes, mobile phones and portable media devices. Other customers include Scientific Atlantic, France Telecom, Philips, Samsung and Thomson.
ANT joined Aim on 16 March 2005, when it raised £11.2m at 126p a share.
