Stockbroker Arden Partners says that its corporate finance income has fallen by one-fifth in the first five months of its financial year.

A lack of deals and flotations has hit the income of the corporate finance operations. Trading commissions are similar to the same period the year before.

The shares fell 15p to 118p.

Arden continues to grow its Indian business and is taking on additional experienced staff.
