Arden Partners

Arden Partners is in merger talks with its larger rival Cenkos Securities.

Any offer is likely to be in Cenkos shares. It doesn’t look as though there is likely to be a premium to Arden’s share price of 124.5p. That values Arden at £30.75m.

Cenkos, which was named Aim broker of the year at the 2008 Growth Company Awards in April, is valued at £112.7m at 209p a share, down 3p. Earlier this year Cenkos failed in an attempt to merge with Close Brothers.
