Dental equipment supplier Astek Group increased turnover by 37.5% to £1.21m in year to March 2007.
The loss reduced from £460,000 to £327,000. Astek has signed up world wide distributors for its two main products. The Pro-Tip Plus, which is a disposable air water syringe that eliminates cross contamination, is being distributed by Sultan HC which has just been acquired by Dentsply International, the world’s largest dental company. The Alma Alginate Syringe, which enables dentists to accurately place impression material in difficult to reach parts of the mouth, is being distributes by Italian firm, Lascod. Astek has a portfolio of more than 200 dentistry products.
