Aukett Fitzroy Robinson trebled its profits last year.

The architect’s turnover grew 21% to £19.7m in the year to September 2007. Profits jumped from £786,000 to £2.37m. Aukett has gone from net debt of £180,000 to net cash of £1.69m over the 12 month period. That is after paying a 0.2p a share interim dividend.

Office and hotel demand has been strong and retail had its best year for some time. More than one-quarter of the profits were generated outside of the UK. Russia is a particularly strong market but the Polis office is losing money.

At 10.5p, the company is valued at £15.3m.
