Healthcare software developer Avia Health Informatics has won a five year contract with Mastercall Healthcare worth £110,000.
Mastercall provides out of hours doctors services for Stockport and Trafford. Avia’s software will be used in two ‘8 til 8’ centres and it will be used to help staff make decisions concerning the treatment and diagnosis of patients. The software enables staff to ask the questions that are required and provides access to the appropriate patient information – whether it is over the telephone or in the clinic. Mastercall may need to buy additional licences.
Avia generated revenues of £1.88m in the 13 months to March 2009.
A placing raised £1.18m - £1.02m net - at 60p a share when Avia joined Aim on 16 November.
The shares opened the first day at 69.5p each and the price has risen to 71.5p since then. That values Avia at £3.54m.
