Avisen has made its second acquisition in less than a fortnight.
Avisen is buying IBM Cognos reseller Inca Group for £3.5m in shares. The Inca businesses lost money on a combined turnover of £6.1m in the year to February 2009. Revenues fell last year and in the previous year the group made an operating profit. Even so, Avisen expects Inca to be earnings enhancing in the current financial year.
Recurring revenues contributed more than £2m of Inca’s total revenues. Inca has more than 500 customers.
Earlier in July 2009, Avisen paid £200,000 in shares for South Africa-based Quadrum Consulting.
At 15.25p a share, the business intelligence consultancy is valued at £17.6m.
