Betbrokers plc has been placed in administration.

It follows its main subsidiary Betbrokers Ltd into administration. The retail and wholesale betting brokerage and clearing house subsidiary appointed Vantis in August.

The subsidiary can’t repay a loan to Betbrokers plc. The only other way to gain cash would be to sell Winning Edge, which it bought last year. This business appears to have been kept separate from the main subsidiary.

The shares were suspended at 0.25p each on 26 August, which valued Betbrokers at £790,000.
