Burst Media says that its 2007 results will be slightly better than indicated in its December trading update.

Burst was expecting turnover of $26.8m and EBITDA of $1.1m. It said it expected cash to be at least $11.2m at the end of 2007 and it ended the year with $12.6m.

Burst Network revenues were flat and even though its newer businesses grew strongly this couldn’t make up for the disappointing core business.

Advertisers are increasingly looking for networks of sites whey can promote their products to a particular customer base. In January the company launched the Burst Moms Network and it intends to offer more of these specific audiences to brand advertisers.

The shares held steady at 7.875p.
