Cantono says that it has planning permission to fully develop its Fareham data centre.
This means that the data centre in the south of England should start operations by the end of September 2008. This is good news because a data centre like this costs a lot of money to develop and the sooner it can start covering its costs the better.
Cantono has already started to generate interest from potential customers.
The shares rose 0.5p to 27p, valuing Cantono at £7.84m. It raised £10.6m at 100p a share in July 2007 in order to develop data centres and Fareham will be the first.
