CEPS says that CEM, including the recently acquired fellow pattern and sample books maker Sampling International, is making an increased loss.

There have been integration costs and redundancies which had not been budgeted. Sampling International is being turned around.

Synthetic rubber products supplier Davies Odell is also below budget, but it returned to profit last month.

There will be more news with the interims in September.
