DCD Media says several production deals were not concluded before its year end.

The TV programme producer and distributor had already warned that this could happen so the news was not received badly. The shares rose 1p to 23p, valuing DCD at £12.2m.

All but two of these contracts were secured after the end of June. The other two should be concluded in the near future so it appears that there will be no lost revenues.

All this has helped DCD make a strong start to the new financial year.
