Spirits brands owner Distil says third quarter sales increased by 19%.

In the nine months to December 2017, revenues were 21% higher and volumes increased by 29%. Higher marketing investment has fuelled the growth. The original Blavod Black Vodka brand has returned to growth.

Distil is still deciding who to appoint as distributor in the US.

The full year outcome is likely to be as expected. Even so, the share price has dropped by one-fifth to 1.88p since the trading statement was released.
