Operations management software company eg solutions reported a reduced loss in the second half. 

It lost £815,000 on turnover of £4.12m in the year to January 2008. This was struck after £392,000 in one-off costs. During the year £900,000 of annualised costs were cut out of overheads. Not all of the benefit was seen last year. There is cash of £878,000 in the balance sheet.

The first Software as a Service licence was sold during the year. There is a move to three-to-five year licences which spread the costs of the software. There is £1.5m of annualised maintenance revenues. Financial services businesses remain the core customer base.

International revenues were £650,000 last year. These revenues are being generated in South Africa, India and the Netherlands.

Brewing Dolphin forecasts profits of £200,000 on turnover of £4.8m in 2008-09.

The shares recovered 1p to 11p, valuing the company at £1.57m.

Founder and boss Elizabeth Gooch acquired 200,000 shares at 10p each for her daughter. Gooch’s stake is 62.8%.
