Online personal health services provider Fitbug Holdings has launched its activity tracking device in Germany and it has made sold devices in other countries.
Fitbug, formerly known as ADDleisure, has received orders for 3,000 devices from its French diet club partner Anxa and it expects to sell at least 6,000 this year. There has also been an initial order from Holmes Place International for 1,500 devices.
At 1.8p a share, up 0.17p, Fitbug is valued at £2.88m. Fitbug recently raised £530,000 through a placing at 1.8p a share.
Fitbug has signed a three year alliance with a major health insurer. This involves a new programme that is due to launch in the middle of this year. The cash raised will be used to develop this US business.
