Fountains says that its current order book is worth £96m.

The forestry services and grounds maintenance business says that its revenues for the year to September 2009 will be higher than the previous peak of £44.7m in 2006-07.

Rail orders for the first half of the financial year are 70% ahead at £5m. A recent contract win from British Waterways Board is worth £5m a year over three years.

There are other potential contracts which, if secured, will start in April. 

Fountains reported an operating profit of £45,000 on revenues of £41.7m in the year to September 2008. Net cash was £18,000.

Shares in Fountains rose 2.5p to 41.5p each, which values the company at £6.22m.
