Greatfleet

Greatfleet’s administrator Harrison has sold its businesses to its former chief executive.

Recruitment company Greatfleet was brought down by a demand for immediate payment of PAYE liabilities to HM Revenue and Customs.

The administrator says that by the end of July there was an immediate wage requirement of up to £200,000 so it had to sell the trading assets as quickly as possible in order to maximise the pay out to creditors.

The buyer was QPS Ltd, which is connected to Colin Gerstein, the former chief executive of Greatfleet.
