Hidefield hopes to announce the results of a pre-feasibility study on its potential open cast gold mine in Patagonia before the end of June.

If everything goes to plan then a banking feasibility study could commence some time in the fourth quarter. That would put the mine on course to be up and running during the second half of 2008. At the moment it appears that the mine’s operating costs could be less than $200/ounce.
