Cash machine advertising technology developer i-design has gained the Royal Bank of Scotland as a customer.

This is the largest contract ever won by Scotland-based i-design.

The roll out of its ATM:ad software starts in the first quarter of this year and should be completed this summer. The company will also be able to sell advertising on around 2,500 RBS cash machines in Tesco supermarkets.

Shares in i-design have drifted lower after a strong start when they floated in July 2007. The placing price was 67p and they end the first day’s trading at 71.5p. This announcement has added 2.5p to the shares thereby taking them from their all-time low to 58.5p.
