Intercede Group says that its revenues in the 10 months to January 2009 have reached £4m.

Intercede generated revenues of £2.81m in the year to March 2008 and reported a small loss.

There should not be a significant rise in costs so much of the additional income should fall through to profit, according to broker FinnCap. The broker adds that Intercede has a strong roll out programme.

Shares in the identity and credential management software supplier jumped 5p to 37.5p a share, valuing Intercede at £13.9m.

Intercede is involved with work on identity cards with the likes of Lockheed Martin, IBM and BT.

A further trading update will be released in April 2009.
