Karelian Diamond Resources has identified a new anomaly near to its diamondiferous kimberlite pipe in Finland.

The anomaly has been discovered under a frozen lake in the vicinity of the Seitaperä diamondiferous kimberlite pipe.It is at a water depth of 4m-12m. If the ice is thick enough Karelian will drill there in March.

It appears that frozen lakes are a good potential location for diamonds.

Karelian also intends to drill three potential targets in the Riihivaara area, near Kuhmo

The shares held steady at 5.75p.
