IFA Lighthouse Group says that its 2017 figures will be ahead of expectations.

House broker finnCap has upgraded revenues by 6% to £53.6m and the pre-tax profit forecast increased from £2.26m to £2.4m. The 2018 profit forecast of £2.54m will be reassessed at the time of the 2017 results announcement on 20 February.

The growth is coming from the affinity business and increased productivity by advisers.

The share price has risen to 22.5p, which is more than double the level one year ago. The shares are trading on 16 times 2017 earnings.
