Media Corporation

Online gaming and advertising group Media Corporation says that trading was strong in the three months to December 2010.

Revenues grew from £4.6m to £5.6m in the first quarter of the new financial year. Gambling business Purple Lounge contributed £500,000 of the improvement. 

The Eyeconomy online advertising business increased its revenues by one-third to £1.6m.

Negotiations for the sale of the Gambling.com portal are continuing. The sale should be completed by the end of March. 

The figures for the year to September 2010 are likely to be published in March.

At 2.9p a share, down 0.12p, Media Corp is valued at £9.82m.
