Bricks manufacturer Michelmersh Brick says that all its plants have increased their revenues in the first half of 2010.

This has been achieved despite the tough start to the year due to poor weather. Margins are also improving. Trading so far this year is in line with expectations.

Michelmersh has also sold a further 33 acres of surplus land for £660,000 - a book gain of £150,000.

The interim figures will be published on 29 September.

Craig Robinson has stepped down as finance director.

At 36.5p a share, Michelmersh is valued at £21.2m. The share price has risen by three-fifths over the past year.
