Mountfield Group improved its 2016 profit on much lower revenues.
The construction and raised access flooring services provider reported a slump in revenues from £13m to £9.6m, while underlying pre-tax profit jumped from £177,000 to £443,000. The new year has started with a strong order book.
There was a recovery in the share price but this was short-lived and it fell back to 1.6p.
