New Media Lottery Services more than doubled its revenues in the six months to October 2007.
The lottery games content and systems provider increased its revenues by 114% to €373,000 and this helped to cut the reported loss from £1.56m to £916,000. A foreign exchange gain and a reduction in overheads also helped to cut the loss.
The Rehab Lottery in Ireland remains a significant revenue generator.
The launch of a lottery in Venezuala has been delayed because of a change of currency. It should be launched by the end of March. NMLS hopes to sign up more contracts for its systems. Fellow Aim-quoted company Inspired Gaming is using NMLS’s software on its Open server-based gaming platform.
The shares are trading at 20.5p - their 12 month low.
