Executive search firm Norman Broadbent has raised £700,000 at 40p a share and it will use the cash to grow Arcus Global Partners and 51%-owned Connecting Corporates.
These two new complementary business ventures were started earlier this year and are growing strongly. They provide services for niche contingent recruitment, interim and social media consultancy. Personnel can be taken on and technology investment made with the cash raised.
In the six months to June 2013, revenues were flat at £4m but the group slipped into loss.
At 41.5p a share, Norman Broadbent is valued at £6.14m.
