Clean technology developer Nviro Cleantech is planning its first plants in China for cleaning coal.
Its Chinese joint venture Balama Nviro has signed a deal with Shenyang Coal Trade Group to remove contaminants from SCTG’s coal. The plant will be sited in north east China.
The plant will use Nviro’s Vertus reductive thermal processing technology while SCTG will supply coal from ten of its mines as well as waste coal to clean up.
The shares rose 4p to 41.5p.
