Plutus Powergen

Plutus Powergen has signed up to a joint venture to develop standalone battery energy storage projects.
Plutus is partnering with property developer London & Derbyshire Trust Ltd. A special purpose vehicle will be set up to develop an initial 85MW energy storage project with the partner supplying the site and grid connection for the project, which will be managed by Plutus. This is in addition to the core flexible generation operations.
Plutus plans to have 120MW of flexible generation up and running by the end of the year with a similar amount at the post-planning stage. There is a total pipeline of 700MW.
