Mobile gaming company Probability’s third quarter figures are relatively flat but management says that business has been better since Christmas.
Net gaming revenues were still 40% higher than the third quarter of the previous financial year and the rate of new customer acquisition continues to increase.
Net gaming revenue fell slightly from £1.37m in the second quarter to £1.31m in the three months to the end of December 2008. Management blames the fact that many players took their gains just before Christmas. The gross win margin declined, quarter-on-quarter, from 73.7% to 70%.
New customer registrations did increase to 67,639, against 56,297 in the previous quarter.
Probability has also agreed to licence the rights to four games from Hasbro International. They are Subbuteo, Trivial Pursuit, Connect Four and Battleship. Probability will develop mobile games based on them.
At 46.5p a share, Probability is valued at £10m.
