Mobile gaming provider Probability says it had its strongest ever quarter in the three months to December 2010.

Snowy days were the best trading days and around 15% more was wagered on these days. There was underlying growth as well.

Player deposits were 35% higher than the previous quarter. Net gaming revenue was £1.48m, which was a strong improvement on the corresponding quarter last year, which was hit by record winnings and withdrawals. This quarter’s figure was also higher than the £1.31m generated in the three months to December 2008.

There were 48,102 new customers in the period, which is slightly more than in the same quarter last year.

Nearly 30% of business comes from iPhone users and these services have been fully available for less than six months.

At 66p a share, one-fifth higher on the day, Probability is valued at £17.4m.
