Proton Power Systems is looking to appoint a new chief executive.

Felix Heidelberg has stepped down as chief executive and from the company’s board. He will continue as chief technical officer for the main subsidiary of the group.

Proton says that it is in “advanced discussions” with a new chief executive who has expertise in the motive power sector. It is hopeful that an ppointment will be announced in the near future after appropriate due diligence.

The shares are unchanged at 6.5p.
