Silicon wafer reclaim services provider Pure Wafer says that it will make a lower than expected loss in the year to June 2012.

Pure Wafer had already reported that is Swansea and Prescott facilities are running at record levels of production and management believes that this is sustainable. Cost per unit is at an all time low. Demand has grown in the US and Asia. Increasing numbers of handheld devices are fuelling that demand.

The full year figures will be published in early October.

At 4.88p a share, up 0.38p, Pure Wafer is valued at £6.19m.

Net debt was $15.1m at the end of 2011.
