Secure Design KK

Japanese biometrics technology developer Secure Design KK continues to disappoint.

Revenues have been very poor in the second half of 2007 and the full year revenues will be lower than the £2.24m reported in 2006.

A bad debt charge will exacerbate the reported loss. This bad debt is the equivalent of half of the first half turnover of £976,000.

The shortfall is blamed on the retirement of two of the sales team. This suggests a lack of planning.

The 2007 results will be published in March. Prior to that Secure Design will update the market on its present cash position.
