Strategic Thought

Risk management software supplier Strategic Thought says that it returned to profit in the year to March 2011 following a strong second half.

Strategic Thought made an operating profit of £600,000 on revenues of £8.8m, which is slightly better than forecast. Revenues from software licences rose by more than one-fifth to £4.64m. That includes software sold to Rio Tinto at the end of the financial year.

Net cash was £2.2m at the end of March 2011.

Full year figures will be published on 24 May.

At 50p a share, Strategic Thought is valued at £15.2m.
