Stratex International has defined gold resources of nearly 1m ounces.
The Turkey-focused gold explorer has defined more than 916,000 ounces of gold and 2.5m ounces of silver.
The majority of the gold and all the silver is at Altintepe. The resource estimate for Inlice has fallen because additional drilling has shown a narrowing of the mineralised zone at depth. The figure has been cut from 373,000 ounces to 262,000 ounces.
There are discussions with third parties about joint venture mining projects at these two projects.
The rest of the gold is at Karaagac, “a partially exposed, gently dipping gold-bearing zone”.
The shares were unchanged at 6.125p, valuing Stratex at £14.4m.
