Rebel shareholders failed to unseat three directors of Venue Solutions.
The rebels, led by Synapse Capital, failed to remove chief executive Dominic Berger, Stephen Thomson and Mark Boughton from the board even though the screen installer’s record is poor.
No voting figures were provided in the initial announcement so it is not possible to assess the margin of victory. The other resolutions were not put to the meeting.
Venue Solutions is pinning its hopes on YourDay, which offers personalised DVDs providing the history of a trip to a theme park. The first system was installed at Alton Towers.
Shares in Venue Solutions rose 0.25p to 3.5p.
