Vitesse Media has cut costs and restructured its business into two divisions.

The investment and business information publisher will get the full benefits of the lower cost structure in the second half.

Trading for the July and August issues of What Investment and Information Age was disappointing but the September issues are ahead of budget. The November edition of What Investment will be redesigned. Information-Age.com is also due to be relaunched in a few weeks time.

The events business is focusing on its bigger events. The second half events are on budget or ahead of plan. Canaccord Adams will be the headline sponsor of the Media Magnate Awards, which will be held for the first time in November.

Management remains cautious about the full year outcome.
