York Pharma is delaying its full year results until its future is clearer.

The figures for the year to September 2008 were due to be released on 20 March 2009. York is short of cash and needs new funds. It will not publish the figures until the financial situation is sorted out.

The skincare treatment developer is in talks with two potential bidders. If either of these bid talks are successful then the bidders will provide short-term funding for the business until the deal is completed. Management believes that a deal is likely to be completed but there is no certainty about this.

The shares rose 0.25p to 2.875p each.
