Israel-based AxisMobile has developed technology that enables consumers to easily access email from their mobile phone handset. Its systems can cope with the main forms of mobile telecoms interfaces and the internet. They are sold by one-off licence fee or a quarterly fee based on number of subscribers. It has customers in Europe, Israel, China and Thailand. The business was founded in 2000 and reversed into Aim-quoted cash-shell CCO Capital in June 2006. A fundraising at that time raised £4m (£2.5m after expenses) at 60p a share.
