TurfTrax provides international horse racing data and data products supplier, including an online form guide at www.turftrax.com. Customers include race courses and media outlets such as the Racing Post and Channel 4. Its tracking system, which uses a lightweight transmitter placed in the saddle cloth of each horse in the race, can measure real-time speed and positional data. TurfTrak's GoingStick system measures the 'going' at a race course. It also offers consultancy services for ground management. TurfTrax raised £3.2m gross at 40p a share on 30 January 2008.
