1st Dental Laboratories

A Danish software company appears to have taken a 13.2% stake in 1st Dental Laboratories on 20 April but failed to say anything until 2 July.

Aula Holding APS increased its holding in 1st Dental from 450,000 shares to 5.549m shares. A company of the same name is classed as a supplier of electronic data processing software.

Only Cenkos Channel Island Nominees, which owns 7.2m shares, could have sold Aula those additional shares in one go. Pershing Nominees owns 3.82m shares and BNY (OCS) Nominees owns 3.17m shares. Electra Kingsway VCT owns 2.5m shares. Yet, if they had sold shares they would presumably have said that they had sold before now.

Last month, Peter Gyllenhammar sold 1.1m shares taking his stake in 1st Dental to 600,000 shares, which is less than 3%. He was also selling shares during April prior to increasing his stake again the following month.

Gyllenhammar sold 1.1m shares on 20 and 21 April but that is a fraction of the shares acquired by Aula.

At 5.12p a share, up 0.12p, 1st Dental is valued at £2.15m.

1st Dental will announce its interim figures on 14 July.
