Shares in 1st Dental Laboratories have fallen following the news that bid talks have ended.
The shares slumped 1.125p to 3.75p each, which values 1st Dental at £1.58m.
On 6 August the company said that it had received a bid approach of “not more than 8.5p a share”. The shares rose 1.125p to 6.875p on that news.
Nigel Spring was appointed as managing director in October.
1st Dental moved from profit to loss in the six months to May 2008. Revenues fell from £5.38m to £4.88m, while a profit of £63,000 was turned into a loss of £141,000.
