Shares in small-scale, biomass-to-energy generator Aggregated Micro Power Holdings went to a 4% premium on the first day of dealings on 18 July.

The share price ended the first day at 104p. Aggregated Micro Power raised £9.5m at 100p a share and this valued the company at £25.7m. The business was formed in 2010 and had previously raised £12.8m.

The company has a 1MWe CHP plant at Low Plains in Cumbria and a business supplying heat dried wood chip. Five boiler projects, three of which have been commissioned, have been sold to Aggregated Micro Power Infrastructure Ltd (AMPIL), which is owned by Law Debenture, for £510,000 with a sixth likely to be sold to the same buyer. AMPIL is a likely buyer of additional projects. Aggregated Micro Power provides fuel for the projects as well as operating and maintaining them.

The plan is to pay dividends from 2015.
