Russia-focused explorer Amur Minerals Corporation says that the Maly Kurumkon mineralised zone could be double the original estimated length.
The zone is now thought to be more than 2km long. Drilling has commenced and four out of the 14 holes have been completed. Three of the holes have indicated mineralisation of 16 metres to 26 metres thick.
House broker Merchant Securities expects further positive news flow over the next few months.
At 4.65p a share, Amur is valued at £16.4m.
